Close contact at our Mayoral Drive building

A person who recently visited Spark’s Mayoral Drive  Building (MDR) has been identified as being a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case.

The person who works for one of our suppliers, visited MDR on Monday 16 August between 11.10am and 12.53pm and accessed Levels 3 and 4 of the building.

The person is currently being tested for COVID-19 and as we await these results we wanted to advise you that we are taking the following precautionary measures.

    •    We have been doing a deep clean into all relevant areas within MDR;
    •    We will keep the number of essential people currently working at MDR to a bare minimum;
    •    The building will remain in lockdown with access by exception only.

We’re aware that some of our suppliers may have had team members who visited this building and we ask that they monitor their own health and if they have any concerns to contact Healthline. There are clear MOH protocols in place to ensure your teams have access to the best advice and expertise across COVID-19 testing and requirements.

We also would like to remind our suppliers that if any of their people have been tested for COVID-19 and are still awaiting their results, that they do not enter any Spark premise until they return a negative test.

We will update our suppliers on the MDR situation as soon as we know more and advise on the next steps.
